The Department of Human-Machine Systems at the Technical University of Berlin is a "selected place 2010" in the Land of Ideas. Thus, it is the winner of the contest "365 places in the Land of Ideas", jointly organized by the initiative "Deutschlandy - Land der Ideen" and Deutsche Bank. Under the patronage of Federal President Horst Köhler the competition „Ausgewählte Orte“ is going to the middle point that actively shapes the future of Germany. As „Ausgewählter Ort“ is the Department of Human-Machine Systems in 2010 an ambassador for the land of ideas, and represents the potential for innovation in Germany.
To make the idea to experience for the public, the Chair of Human-Machine Systems organized at the award ceremony a day of open doors on the 1st December 2010.
